Hi, Tiffany Thank you for getting in touch with us. We are open 365 days a year, and is no Christmas exception! Thanks
I don't think you can. Even if you are in the restroom when your noodles come they offer to remake the bowl so I cannot imagine them offering takeout.
Tonkotsu style!
Borgat hotel
Yes they do and it's just one kids sized bowl of ramen
Have not tried the one in Manhattan but the Brooklyn was was 👌👌👌👌
Yes, they do
Yes they do!
I don't think so
$20 base price, you can build from there
Stumbling around East Williamsburg / Bushwick en route to a wedding after-party, I was overcome by a need for ramen. A friend found the place on Google Maps and we found ourselves transported to a Japanese ramen place where all the servers are unseen except for their middle torsos through a window. The ramen was good - needed more salt and spice. Creamy with thin noodles. I might not have survived the night without it.
Would certainly recommend trying this spot. Excellent ambience, yummy dishes, fantastic customer service. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite places to grab some food. good location, clean, and very good customer service. I recommend this place!
Amazing experience and excellent service.Very spicy :)I would come back.
This place simply knows how to treat their clients. Regularly with a helpful mindset. The food is affordably priced, regularly tasty and clean.
I had one in Hongkong(I didn’t know that you have to order the toppings, and I literally had a bowl of plain noodles)but in Brooklyn, the staff will ask you if u know how to order(they also have the instructions on menu!) it’s perfect for solo and the food are amazing, and you can peel your own egg! The dessert is the best!!! Must try!!! However, they don’t accept tips!
I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are appetizing and the team is attentive and cooperative. always when we visit this place we pass a cheerful time. highly recommended.
I love the individual booths here!! The ramen is also incredibly tasty and flavorful. The texture of the ramen noodle was great. The soup is so rich in flavor and the chashu pork is so juicy. It is more expensive than it is in Japan but that’s expected. The price of the ramen is similar to other ramen places in the city but the cost of the side dishes is absurd.. $2 for a bit of vinegar!! But anyways, the thing that matters is the ramen and it was so delicious so I highly recommend Ichiran! Probably my favorite ramen shops in NYC.
Great service. Fun experience ordering and eating in the booth. Love love the Matcha Pudding. Must try !
A unique experience. The ramen is delicious and the service is great. I really enjoyed my time here
ICHIRAN in BK comes very close to the original in Japan. You're first sip of the broth satisfies the same sensations and transports you back to Japan. Their service is good and they even talk Japanese to you. This is definitely a spot for both groups and solo diners. It will be one of a few restaurants I will always return to in NY.
I prefer this restaurant very much. theres a special feeling. The meals are splendid. the service is powerful and the personel is courteous. The pay is modest. I definitely recommend.
Great noodles and rich broth! Love The Vibe too! -1 star because its quite expensive.
Best noodles I’ve ever had. Whenever I crave noodles, this is the place to go. It’s great price for a bowl. The portion size is great. The matcha pudding dessert is worth it as well.
Not much different from the ones in Japan, though the 'vending machine' experience is missing (not that I really miss the confusing English translations). Great broth and noodles, not a huge selection of options but what they have is very good. I didn't find the fancy pork add-on to be worth it, it was too fatty and small for another 9$. Stick with the normal pork. It's not really good for a larger group that I could tell. You can fold the separators between the seats to talk to the person next to you but everyone essentially has to sit at a 'bar' in line. No circular or square seating.
Ramen is ok, soup base is good. But their customization is not that much accurate, I consider it not even has much different.
This place has really good ramen. I've been to ippudo and still this is better. Staff is super courteous! Place is spacious. We came with our toddler and they provide the nicest baby seat in any restaurant I've been. Parking is the only thing that's iffy.
Best Ramen in the world
This was the last place I ate indoors pre COVID-19. Don't regret it one bit
Quick and easy bite. Noodle and meat portions are okay, but I can easily find a more robust meal at other locations for the same price. I did enjoy the privacy partitions and the minimal contact with servers. It was interesting all around. Would recommend if you want some noodles fast and easy.
I visited the Manhattan location but this was my first time at the Brooklyn spot. It was quite busy which was a good sign. The staff was super friendly. As for the food, the ramen was amazing and the meal was worth the wait. Will be visiting again for sure.
Good food. Quick service. Clean premises.
Absolutely incredible, delicious, and delightful. I have had my fair share of ramen in my travels and this place Rocks! The servers are wonderful, attentive, and as helpful as it gets. A little wait to be seated but absolutely worth it. The ramen is perfect and I don't say this lightly. I really am unsure of how it could be better.
I like the fact you can customize the texture of the noodle, the richness of the broth, spicy level. Wish they have more options of appetizers like pork bun. Price is not too crazy especially when tips is included. $20.57 including taxes is about what you paid at other ramen joint when you factor tips and taxes.
The service is consistently swift, great mood, nice staff. Will visit here again when I get in town.
It’s good don’t get me wrong. But it’s not as good as the one in Japan. Something is different and perhaps the soup is a bit sweeter or thicker. But it’s definitely not the same as the one in Japan which I would give 5 stars.
Outstanding ramen experience. Their secret red sauce is shipped from japan!! And it’s worth it. No picture of the ramen, but I assure you it was a phenomenal balance of flavor. I recommend this place to ANYONE. Maybe the best in NYC
It was actually pretty disappointing. While the noodles were great, the add-ons were very lackluster compared to other places for comparable prices. The pork was dry and the fat was stringy. Very few options for beer or sake. No starter options. The seating area was very weird and off-putting. Also, I don't support businesses who don't allow tipping. Wish I knew that from the start so I wouldn't have bothered.
2019 best ramen in NYC. The brothers is Smith and flavorful. The noodles perfect and to order, (Its a little far to get to, but worth it).
Quite easily the singular best ramen restaurant in new york, period. Ichiran's signature ramen will leave you floored and drooling for more, all whilst filling your stomach and soothing your soul.
Good noodles with bite to them, but broth and overall flavor is just above par. Way too expensive for what it is. If the ramen were amazing, it might be worth it, but it simply isn't.
I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a brilliant evening and the place was definitely one of the reasons for the successful gathering. The stuff collaborated in a very nice manner, the cuisine was delicious and my buddies were very happy. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
This location, for some reason, is a lot better than the one on 31st street in Manhattan. I don’t know why. It just hits different. Go here.
I dine in this great restaurant a lot! This is my favorite spot to dine. I visit this spot regularly. The meals are fantastic, the staff is helpful and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy going in this place over a decent lunch.
Cool experience but there is better ramen out there. I doubt you'll regret it but you wont be floored by the cuisine.
Perfect ending to a 14 hour overseas trip. Delicious. Nutritious.
Ok so yes this place was a must go to. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to experienced the "distraction-free" seating. I sat on the other side and it was fine. I really enjoyed the ramen, but did feel that the price was a little too high for the quantity and overall experience. If they offered a little more or charged $15 instead of a base $18+, then I would have given this rating a 5 star. Everything else was great.
Wish there were more dessert options, but awesome service!
Tasty ramen that can be customized exactly the way you want. They have solo chambers that is an interesting experience
Awesome ramen experience. Highly recommended.
I celebrated my nomination this evening in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that we had a pleasant evening and the venue was absolutely the reason for this happy evening. The team participated in a sweet way, the food was appetizing and my guests were very cheerful. We shall absolutely come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.
Awesome ramen shop with a unique dining experience. The food is all amazing, and they have interesting beverage choices. The service is excellent. All seating is solo, in privacy booths, for distraction free dining. A nice, calm respite from the hustle of the NYC streets.
I prefer this one to the other ICHIRANs in the city. I almost always have a seat upon arrival and the bowls are served quickly.
They have very good broth and it’s always consistent. The pork is usually a little over cooked. A bowl with toppings is $20-$25, so definitely more pricey than other ramen, but worth trying
Finally tried this.... Very authentic and exactly same taste as Japan (1450 yen). But how can you justify $24 for a bowl of ramen in Warehouse section of Brooklyn ( cheap rent area)........ That is too deep...In Japan it is good for a quick cheap, fast food style meal.... Cannot imagine it is a price of fine dining but fast food style....
Excellent service and food. These guys will ensure your food is made perfectly every time you visit. Even on a crowded night like tonight, they do their best to accommodate!
The best part was the efficient service and how the set-up was just like the one in Japan! The price was not very reasonable with customers having to pay for every single topping. For an establishment that hyped how special its tonkotsu ramen is, it did not stand out and there other ramen spots in the city that serve better for a lower price.
Ichiran is classic! The best part about this place is how easy the menu is and the different variations you can get. Depending on how you like your noodles texture, your spice level, the oiliness of your broth, you have all these options to customize! The noodles themselves are chewy and perfectly al dente, but the broth is one of a kind. It is truly something special, with their special spicy red sauce a perfect addition to take the broth to the next level. Of course... coming here is an experience itself with the private booth seating made for one. It is perfect for a quick bite alone or even with a group of two. The only thing is the price is on the higher end in comparison to other ramen spots in nyc, but nevertheless worth a try!!!
A very nice and cultural place were u feel like you part of their culture. The food was amazing , hospitality & welcoming was definitely a 5 start rating I would definitely be coming back with more of my friends.
